Powerpoint Presentation I: The American Revolution
In this assignment I had to create a PowerPoint on a subject matter I want to teach someday. I created mine based on the American Revolution from the start of it to the end. I included some of the important events and tried to sum it up as best as I could, 2/28/11

PowerPoint Presentation part II: I took the previous slideshow that I had done the American Revolution and used a program called ProfCast to create a narration of it. It was a fun tool and helped me add some details to the PowerPoint as if I were giving a lecture. It is a useful tool that will come in handy in the future, hopefully I can get better at podcasting first. 3/2/11

In this project I had to create a podcast using audacity. produced on 3/16/11 in Mount Pleasant Michigan. I had to talk about what I thought Rick Snyder was going to accomplish in his first year. I got music from archive.org and split the clip and added it to my recording of what I thought. I also had to use effects such as fade in and fade out. I had to download lame to my computer so I could get it on the computer as an mp3. It was a good experience and hopefully more podcasts to come in the future!

Digital Storytelling: In this project I had to narrate pictures using IMovie. I obtained my pictures through the creative commons portion of Flickr.com and obtained my music from archive.org. I had to then drag in the pictures and plan out what I was going to say. I timed it out and used the voice over feature on IMovie. I then used transitions and effects along with title slides to make the presentation pleasing. I also put in some music and the program automatically ducted my voice when I talked. I had then to finish my project and export it to YouTube.com and then put it on the wikispace using the other widget feature.

In this project I had to upload a photo of my own from my own camera. I then had to use the upload file feature to put it on the page. I then downsized it and wrote my name underneath. I then went to Flickr.com creative common site and found a picture under the attribution license section.I grabbed the embedding code from online and then used the other widget feature to post the picture. Finally I wrote the assignment for the students underneath the photos.
